WHAT LIES ON THE OTHER SIDE?

A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side." Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know? But you are a christian, how come you don't know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding on to the handle of the door; on the other side of the door came a sound of scratching and whining. The doctor then decided to open the door; as he did, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an ecstacy twisting its tail. Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing... I know my Master is there and that is enough.'

Dear reader, I have the same question for you today; Do you know what lies on the other side? God forbid, if you die today, are you confident you have a master waiting with arms open wide to recieve you on the other side? Just as a reminder, we all have a choice to make for the other side; Heaven or Hell. You can never hear this enough. The question is; What is your choice? Which part of the other side are you looking forward to or working towards?

To be confident of going to Heaven, there is only one passport and visa there. You must give your life to Jesus christ. He says in His words, "I am the way, the truth and the Life; No one comes to the Father (God/Heaven) - emphasis mine - except by me." - John 14v6. Just like that story, the Dog was confident of his master on the other side, thats why he was scratching the door in anticipation before the door was opened to it. The door in the story can be likened to Jesus christ - because He is the way!

"...no one comes to the father except by me." Thats the word! No one can come to heaven without Jesus christ. Let no one decieve you. No other god on earth can take you there. No reputation can take you there. No good works serves as a pre-requisite to getting there. There is only one way and that way is Jesus christ. Someone once asked a question from two gentlemen; "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" just read the answer; "They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."" I have the same answer for you today my dear friend. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.

If you desire to acknowledge Jesus as the way, say this prayer: "Lord Jesus, I have known the truth, and I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Just like that Dog running to his master, I want to be sure heaven is my home so I can come safely into your arms in the end of days; accept me Lord. Wash me with your blood that was shed for me. Write my name in the Book of Life. Give me the grace to live my life for you. Thank you Lord Jesus for accepting me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen"

If you just said that prayer, you are now a child of God. We would love to hear from you. Always remember: GOD LOVES YOU!!! REMAIN BLESSED!!

I stumbled upon your site through following a bunny trail of 'friend's friends'.
As a fellow Christian, I was excited to see someone presenting the Gospel in 'parable' that everyone can understand.
May God open the hearts of your readers and woo them into a right relationship with Him.
    Blessings!

I enjoyed reading this post. One thing I am learning to do is to evangelize through my writings like many of you bloggers do knowing fully well that I am not the type to stand before a crowd to do so.
Nevertheless, it is good we all talk about Christ. Let our everyday lives reflect what we believe and as we all struggle, someday we will be on the other side, where our Master is.
